Kieran McMahon got back to winning ways when he fired in his first break finish of the season. His 'dish' made David Doran only a viewing participant while it gave McMahon his 3rd win in 5 league games.
Tommy Mooney swapped himself to 2nd on the team sheet and what a decision that was from the Trainor's captain. He broke and cleared to continue this amazing standard to the match. Mooney brushed old Corrinshego team mate Harvey Lavelle to level the scores 1-1. It was Lavelle's 1st loss of the league campaign. Mooney now has won 4 on the spin since his opening day league defeat.
Super potting Declan Finnegan had too much for Bernie Magee as the visitors took the lead 2-1. Magee has now lost 3 of his 5 league games.
Declan McConville drew the favourite's level when he beat a useful Niall McVerry for 2-2. It is McConville's 2nd win in a row after 2 losses. It was McVerry's 1st defeat since the opening league fixture.
Brendan McNally had yet to win for Trainor's while Paddy Tavey had won all 4 of his league games. This was only ever going to go one way. You guessed it - McNally stunned Tavey and Trainor's now led 3-2.
Pat Brady kept his own personal 100% record going with a comfortable win over Noel Bradley. Brady is one of only 2 players now with 100% winning records in the Premier Division. (This only includes players that have played in all 5 league games).
Stephen Teggert was far too good for Liam Bradley and parity was restored with CWC A now leading 4-3. Bradley has now lost his last 2 after winning his first 3.
It was now down to Seamus McGeoghegan and Paddy McKeown to decide if the points would be split of if both would stay in CWC. McGeoghegan is having a stormer of a season and his 4th win out of 5 kept CWC A joint top of the Premier.
Hustlers kept themselves joint top when they demolished Ballyholland.
Barry Murphy picked up his 3rd win of the campaign to give the Bellinis club the lead. Davey McAvoy hasn't won now since the opening league fixture.
Damien Kearney is the Rocket Man this season blasting all before him. He is potting with confidence and his 5th win of the league campaign put Hustlers 2-0 up and kept his own 100% record. He and Pat Brady are the only 2 players with 5 wins from 5 so well done to them. Brendan Keenan was Kearney's latest casualty.
Cathal McCoy couldn't buy a win but after losing his first 3 he now has 2 wins in a row. Giby Vettiankal picking up his 4th defeat in 5.
Shane McAllister inflicted a 1st league defeat on Robbie White to make it 4-0. White had won his previous 3 games while McAllister picked up only his 2nd of 5 played.
Who needs a former World Champion Emma Cunningham when you have N.Irish international Mary Cunningham destroying everyone in front of her. Cunningham has yet to taste defeat for Hustlers and She was in devastating form again Thursday night. Blackball enthusiast Mary won her 3rd match out of the 3 She's played to take the points and thrashing Ballyholland 5-0. Colm Shields had been going well this season and now has a record of 3 wins out of 5.
With the points in the bag Ciaran O'Neill took his foot of the gas and the talented Niall McQuillan's grabbed a consolation for Ballyholland. It was McQuillan's 2nd win in his last 2 games. It was O'Neill's 1st defeat in 4 games.
Philip Murphy v Jim McMahon was a battle for their first win. Murphy came in as sub for Diddles McArdle and had lost 2 of the games he played while sub for 2. McMahon had lost his last 3 and didn't play in the opening fixture. Murphy is a super potter but McMahon finally broke his duck to put some respectability on the score at 5-2.
Kevin Magee had his 3 game winning streak ended last week but he got back on the winners side when he beat Manny Kelly. Kelly has now 2 defeats and 1 win.
The score of 6-2 didn't flatter and there's no sign of Hustlers relenting as they chase CWC A at the early stages of this title challenge. Micky Cunningham has picked some good line-ups and his squad has a strong balance throughout the team. Write them off at your peril.
Bears travelled out to Dan's more in hope than with any real optimism.
Seamus McVerry and James O'Hagan fired Dan's 2-0 up. Ralph Crummy and Garry Powell two good players that lost out.

Barney Preece made it 3-1 and then finally Dan's captain Jimmy McVerry got his 1st win after 3 previous defeats to make it 4-1. Anthony Morgan and Eddie Heaney losing out. Incredibly both Morgan and Heaney remain without a league win between them.
Paddy O'Callaghan had been going through a drought but at last hes back to winning ways. O'Callaghan's only league win had been on the opening league fixture but thanks to Eddie Fitzpatrick being out of sorts O'Callaghan doubled his league tally and took the 2 points for Dan's at 5-1.
