Stevie Noade is having a patchy season for TJ's A while his opponent Martin O'Callaghan has been in fine form for the South Armagh side. It was probably no surprise then when O'Callaghan levelled the match and the pressure was on TJ's at the half-way stage. 2-2.

When Stevie Teggart tasted a rare defeat for TJ's, Whitecross looked on course for a shock result. Noel Donaldson has been a terrific signing for Whitecross this season and some brilliant play put the visitors level with 2 to play.
TJ's A captain Laurence McAlinden has been sensational this season and was red hot favourite against Michael Feenan. After a scrappy frame a re-spotted black was required and now it was a lottery. Feenan prevailed and amazingly Whitecross now lead 4-3.
Declan McConville has been about as reliable as a light with no bulb this season and Joseph McTaggart would fancy his chances of completing an incredible victory. As it turned out a fluke won the game for Declan McConville and the former TJ's captain rescued an invaluable point for the the current quadruple champions.
CWC A kept up their unbeaten start to the season win another comfortable victory this team over the hapless McGuigans Bar. Kieran McMahon, Martin McClelland with a brilliant break finish, Paddy Clarke, Harvey Lavelle, new signing Stephen Rooney and captain Pat Brady put CWC A 6 nil up. The match finished 6-2 in an all too easy match.
Hustlers were the big winners of the weekend though. They visited the formidable Orchard Bar and cruised to victory. Orchard threatened the leagues leaders a few weeks ago but a dip in form has seen them slip down to mid-table.
Ciaran O'Neill had a fantastic win over Karl McGuinness and that set the tone for the rest of the match. That 1-0 lead for Hustlers was a big blow for Orchard but that was just the start.
Damian Kearney is back to form and his 2nd win in a row since his return to the Hustlers side put his visiting team 2-0 up. Brendy Devlin was enjoying a bit of good form himself but he certainly wouldn't be used to playing 2nd as he is usually the anchor man.
Micky Cunningham the league supremo was back in form for the Hustlers team after a few pints to steady the nerves. He returned triumphantly to beat a very useful David Cromie and the Bellini's based side were 3-0 to the good.
Diamuird Lonergan had a good game against the inform Billy O'Neill and it was Lonergan that pulled a frame back for Orchard Bar.
Bernie Magee put Hustlers on the brink of a massive win after a good win over Orchard new signing PJ McDaniel. 4-1.
Damian 'Diddles' McArdle had one of his best wins of the season when he won the match for Hustlers with a super win over the tricky Mervyn Kernaghan.
Richard Crawford played some really top pool when he beat the excellent Cathal McCoy to make the score a more respectable 5-2.
Kevin Magee couldn't buy a frame at the start of the season but now he is just unstoppable. A brilliant win over Lee Irvine wrapped up a good night on the baize completing a 6-2 win.
Bears getting their 2 points from the now exited Killeavy meant they were going to be right up there near the top.
The pressure was on Carrickcruppen to return to winning ways and a good home win over Sheepbridge resulted in their 3rd league win of the season.

Carrickcruppen have got stick on here in the past for not having the backbone and push on to win tight matches. Two young potters that don't usually suffer from pressure took the game by the scruff of the neck to thwart the Bowling club.
Aaron O'Callaghan and then Stephen Lavelle both had very good wins over the two Morgan's. First Ciaran Morgan Junior was beaten and Senior followed suit in the final frame to claim 2 extremely welcome points for Carrickcruppen.
