TJ'C who have been a big disappointment this season travelled out to Bessbrook but left empty handed in an exciting match. George McMurray got the Newry side off to a good start playing very well against the attacking James O'Hagan. Jimmy & Niall McVerry reversed the scoreline defeating Harry Brady & Tony MCGivern.
It was all square at the half way stage Mark McGurk lost a tactical game with Johnny McMurray. Seamus Tumilty defeated Diddles McArdle with some superb pool & Gerard Hughes gave the home side a 4-2 lead beating Liam Downey.
TJ's C fought back thanks to Sean McDonald beating George Crimmins but Barry Doyle won the pressure game for Dans C seeing off Paul Taylor to keep Dans hot on the heals of league leaders McGuigans B.
McGuigans B slipped up against mid-table Johnny Murphys in Meigh. The league leaders McGuigans clawed their way back from 3-1 down so they will certainly see it as a point gained.
Conor McQuid & Declan Brady got Murphys off to a flying start with Kenny & Austin Gilbraith both losing out. Keith Gilbraith got the better of the usually reliable Paul McArdle to put McGuigans back in the match 2-1.
Murphys hit back to make it 3-1 when Emmet Fearon beat Cathal McCoy with latter needing to up his game of late! Paddy Kelly gave the League leaders hope they could nail the 2pts when he beat Francis Purcell but the brilliant Martin White secured at least a draw for Murphys when he gave the home side a 4-2 lead.
The South Armagh side couldn't hold on though as firstly Kevin Crilly lost out to Liam McLoughlin to make it 4-3 then Kieran Larkin fell at the hands of Damien Flannaghan to end an exciting match 4-4.
Elsewhere Trainors of Canal street climbed off the bottom of the table with a stunning win over promotion hopefuls Bear's 6-2. Millvale and McSwiggins are joint bottom after both lost.
